Henry Gee (dean)

The Very Rev Henry Gee (1858–1938) DD, FSA [1] was an Anglican dean [2] in the first half of the 20th century.[3]
He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford and ordained in 1877.[4] He was a Tutor at the London College of Divinity then Principal of Bishop’s College, Ripon. In 1910 he was appointed Professor of Church History at Durham University, a post he held for 8 years until his elevation to the Gloucester Deanery. He died on 23 December 1938.[5]
